<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing cage that facilitates the sealing of grease (lubricant), can largely reduce torque, enables lubrication at a minimum necessary oil amount, can suppress the generation of heat caused by stirring resistance, and can be adapted to high-speed rotation. <P>SOLUTION: The bearing cage includes a peripheral wall 2 at which a plurality of pockets 1 are formed at prescribed pitches along the circumferential direction, and a pair of end walls 3, 4 which are continuously formed at a radial end face. A first divided body is formed of one end wall 3 and a first peripheral wall half-divided body 5 which is continuously formed at the end wall 3, and a second divided body is formed of the other end wall 4 and a second peripheral wall half-divided body 6 continuous to the end wall 4. Mating surfaces 11, 21 between a first peripheral wall half-divided body 5 and a second peripheral wall half-divided body 6 are formed to be slopes which are inclined at prescribed angles with respect to the axial direction. the first divided body 5 and the second divided body 6 are integrated while the mating surfaces 11, 21 are overlapped with each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
