<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric compressor capable of restraining characteristic deterioration by maintaining the soundness of the protection film on the permanent magnet surface by restraining relative movement of permanent magnets stored inside an electric motor. <P>SOLUTION: The electric compressor comprises a compression part for compressing a refrigerant taken in from a suction port so as to discharge the same from a discharge port, and an electric motor for rotating the rotation shaft for driving the compression part. The electric motor has a rotor fixed on the circumference of the rotation shaft and a stator. The rotor comprises permanent magnets 3 inserted and disposed in magnet installing holes 225 elongating in the axial direction. The permanent magnets 3 have protection films 35 formed on the surfaces for improving the corrosion resistance. At least a part of the clearance between the permanent magnet 3 and the inner wall surface of the magnet installing hole 225 is filled with a fixing resin 6. It is preferable that the magnet installing hole 225 has an expanded hole part 227 recessed outward from a part of the inner circumferential shape corresponding to the outer shape of the permanent magnet 3 so that the expanded hole part 227 is filled with the fixing resin 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
