<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact gear grinder including an easy-to-replace grinding wheel. <P>SOLUTION: The gear grinder grinds a workpiece W by mutually rotating the workpiece W and the grinding wheel 17 meshed with each other. The gear grinder includes a rotary table 22 rotating around a workpiece rotating axis C while holding the workpiece W, and a turntable 31 supported turnably around the workpiece rotating axis C. A grinding wheel receiving base 50 where the grindstone 17 is placed is arranged on the turntable 31.
