<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a microchannel using a magnetic refrigerant material. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes: a groove forming step of forming a groove 111a having a depth that equals to or exceeds a width of the microchannel on one surface of the plate-like magnetic refrigerant material 111 that is thicker than the total dimension W1+W2 of a pair of air gap width W1 and magnetic refrigerant material filler width W2 in the microchannel; a step of grinding or grinding processing the groove 111a so that the depth of the groove 111a corresponds to the air gap width W1 of the microchannel; a step of grinding or grinding processing a surface opposite to the one where the groove 111a is formed out of the surfaces of plate-like magnetic refrigerant material 111 so that the surface is flattened and its thickness corresponds to that of the total W1+W2 of the pair of air gap width W1 and the magnetic refrigerant material filler width W2 in the micro channel; and a bonding step of bonding magnetic refrigerant material chips 101 obtained by the grinding or the grinding processing so as to be laminated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
