<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circular saw for cutting metal reducing friction against a material to be cut, effectively preventing chipping of a cutting blade tip, increase of cutting resistance, roughening of a cutting surface and the like, and drastically extending a life. <P>SOLUTION: Blades 14 are formed at a predetermined pitch in the outer peripheral edge of a disk-like base metal 12, and the cutting blade tips 20 are securely attached respectively to respective blades 14. In both corner parts between an outer peripheral flank 30 of the cutting blade tip 20 and outer peripheral edges of lateral flanks 28 on both sides thereof, taper chamfers 34 are provided that are formed toward the rear side of respective blades 14 from both ends of a flank 24 with a space of 0.2-0.8 mm. The taper chamfers 34 are formed tapered so as to widen from the flank 24 side toward the front edge of the blade 14. Small chamfers 36 are formed between the taper chamfers 34 and both ends of the flank 24. Blade taper surfaces 38 are provided in both corner parts of the outer peripheral parts of the blades 14 extended from the taper chamfers 34. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
