The stereoscopic video creation device (100) of the present invention comprises: a reception unit (101) that receives 2D images; a selection unit (123) that selects as stereoscopic partner frame candidates a plurality of frames that have a shared area shared with target frames of a size that is at or above a predetermined value, from among a plurality of frames that comprise a 2D image; a determination unit (124) that determines stereoscopic partner frames which are frames that comprise a stereoscopic image together with the target frames, based on a first criterion, from the stereoscopic partner frame candidates; a stereo pair generating unit (125) that generates a stereo pair which form a stereoscopic image corresponding to the target frames, using the target frames and the stereoscopic partner frames; and a conversion unit (126) that generates a conversion matrix based on the target frames and the determined stereoscopic partner frames, and applies the generated conversion matrix to the stereo pair, based on a second criterion and, thereby, converts the stereo pair.
