<p>Provided is a center pillar construction comprising: a pillar inner body (10) connecting a rocker (100) and a roof side rail (110); and a pillar strengthening member (20) bonded to the vehicle exterior side of this pillar inner body (10). The pillar inner body (10) has a bulging section (13) in the lower part thereof that bulges towards the vehicle exterior side, as a lower-side columnar section of a pillar inner. The pillar strengthening member (20) extends on the pillar inner body (10) side while covering the upper end of the bulging section (13) and, together with the upper part of the pillar inner body (10), forms an upper-side columnar section of the pillar inner.</p> |
