<p>The invention relates to an irradiation system for stimulating the health of cultivated vegetables and inhibiting the attack of phytopathogenic micro-organisms, comprising a control module having a microprocessor and peripherals; a power source module with battery back-up; a voltage programming and adapting module; a power module comprising at least four independent channels; a light emitter module comprising a supporting device; and an assembly plate and cabinet module. The invention also relates to the method for stimulating the health of cultivated vegetables and inhibiting the attack of phytopathogenic micro-organisms, comprising the determination of basic variables and work conditions, and the modulation of the LED.
