METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR BACKING UP MOBILE TERMINAL FILES

A method and an apparatus for backing up mobile terminal files are disclosed by the present invention. The method includes the following steps that: a mobile terminal establishes a Wireless Fidelity (WiFi) connection to a backup server; the mobile terminal transmits the files needed to be backed up to the backup server via the WiFi connection; and the backup server stores the files needed to be backed up, which are received from the mobile terminal via the WiFi connection. With the present invention, the cost of the traffic flow is saved for users, and the processing capability of the system is improved.
