<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To omit useless access to an image memory as much as possible, achieve efficient access, and improve image processing speed. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus repeatedly performing image rotation processing to image data in a scanning line direction using an SIMD processor includes: calculating the required number of lines of an SIMD unit of image data based on a predetermined rotation angle when rotating the image data by the rotation angle; transferring the required number of the lines of the SIMD unit of the image data to an internal memory from an external memory, and holding the transferred image data in the internal memory; and performing image rotation processing to the image data held in the internal memory. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
