<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection control device capable of reducing the area of a backup circuit to be mounted to a CPU card. <P>SOLUTION: The protection control device is provided with an external power source 11 to be mounted to a CPU card 100 after the CPU card 100 is removed from the protection control device. The CPU card 100 is provided with: a connector 5a for acquiring A/D-converted digital data, card power sources 7a and 7b supplied from the protection control device, and a backup power source 8b supplied from the external power source 11; a CPU 1 for relay calculation; volatile memory 3 holding digital data; and a capacitor 9 which is disposed so as to be capable of continuously supplying power source voltage to the volatile memory 3 even when the supply of the card power sources 7a and 7b is stopped, and which is set to capacity capable of holding data within the volatile memory 3 until the supply of the backup power source 8b is started since the stop of the supply of the card power sources 7a and 7b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
