<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the dimension of a device for locking a wheel rim for vehicle on a repair workshop machine, particularly, a tire-changing machine or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The locking device 1 has a supporting structure 2 which is associated with the repair workshop machine to rotate around a work axis B and having a resting portion 3 for a wheel rim for vehicles; a locking element 4 which can be removably associated with the support structure 2 by use of to a fastening element 5; and movement means 6, 7, 8, 34. The movement means includes a main actuator cylinder 6 with fluid operation suitable for moving the fastening element 5 from a release position, wherein the locking element 4 is disengaged from the rim, to a retention position, wherein the locking element 4 is engaged on the rim; an auxiliary actuator cylinder 7, 8 with fluid operation suitable for moving the fastening element 5 from the release position of the rim to the retention position thereof; and a feeding mouth 9 for a fluid connected to at least one of the main actuator cylinder 6 and the auxiliary actuator cylinder 7, 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
