<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress residence of a toner between a cleaning member that rotates and a conveyance member located under the cleaning member, and to prevent the toner from adhering to the conveyance member. <P>SOLUTION: An apparatus includes: a cleaning member 4 that rotates upward in a region facing an image holding body 1; a scraping member 5 for scraping off residual toner Tr attached to the cleaning member 4; a conveyance member 6 disposed below the cleaning member 4; and an agitation member 7 that is composed of a thin plate-like elastic member part of which is attached to a cleaning reservoir 3 and which extends in a region between the cleaning member 4 and the conveyance member 6, and is fluctuated by rotation of the conveyance member 6 to agitate the residual toner Tr around it; the agitation member 7 having a mounting piece 11 mounted to a mounted portion 8 of the cleaning reservoir 3 and a plurality of projection pieces 12 that project from the mounting piece 11 toward the conveyance member 6 in response to a pitch interval of spiral blades 6b of the conveyance member 6, with an intermediate part between the tip and the base end of the projection pieces 12 touching the upper peripheral edge part of the spiral blades 6b of the conveyance member 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
