<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound playback apparatus which eliminates the risk of missing music, without increasing noises, even if there are big noises. <P>SOLUTION: A control section 107 in a portable sound playback apparatus 10 monitors whether or not the state where the volume of surrounding noises is higher than a first value is continued for a second time and, if continued, causes a decoder 104 to stop decoding. After playback is stopped, the control section 107 monitors whether or not the state where the volume of surrounding noises is lower than a third value is continued for a fourth time and, if continued, causes the decoder 104 to resume decoding from a time point returned from a time point of playback stop for a predetermined time. Thus, even if there is a missed portion until playback stop because of generation of high volume of surrounding noises, playback of sounds is resumed from the time point returned from the time point of playback stop after the volume of surrounding noises is reduced, so that the missed portion is played back at all the time and missing is not incurred. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
