<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable bedding which is suitable for a user to be selected. <P>SOLUTION: The bedding selecting method includes a measuring step, which enables the user to lie down on the top section of a bed 21 for testing which is divided into first to fourth top boards (a plurality of divided sections) 23a to 23d in the length direction, and the body weight of the user and the weight for each area of the body of the user located on the respective top boards 23a to 23d are measured, a selecting step, which enables a piece of bedding which is proximal for the user is selected from among a plurality of bedding wherein at least one of the position and the quantity of through-holes in which a columnar body has been inserted, and the hardness of the columnar body is set in advance to be different conforming to the measured weight of the user and the height of the user, and an adjusting step, which enables the ratio of the weight of each area of the body of the user to be calculated from the measured weight of each area of the body of the user, and either one or more from among the position, the quantity of through-holes in which the columnar body is inserted, and the hardness of the columnar body for the bedding which has been selected in the selecting step to be adjusted conforming to the ratio. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
