<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll fluid machine capable of preventing power loss and enhancing the hermeticity of a compression chamber. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of outer peripheral projections 15, 16 are formed on outer peripheral surfaces 4B, 13B of wrap portions 4, 13 of respective scrolls 2, 11. An outer peripheral coating layer 17 is formed on the outer peripheral surface 4B of the wrap portion 4 of the fixed scroll 2, and an inner peripheral coating layer 18 is formed on the inner peripheral surface 4A of the wrap portion 4. The coating layers 17, 18 respectively comprise contact portions 17A, 18A which make contact with the mating wrap portions 13, and non-contact portions 17B, 18B which do not make contact with the mating wrap portions 13. In this way, the hermeticity of the compression chamber 14 can be enhanced by the contact portions 17A, 18A, and also power loss can be prevented by the non-contact portions 17B, 18B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
