<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner capable of adjusting a state or a position of optical elements such as a lens and a mirror with high precision without being affected by step-out of a motor or backlash of a gear or the like. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided an optical scanner in which a center P of a second edge 209B of a second fθ lens 209 is moved from an initial position X1 to a prescribed position X2 in an Xa direction, and a stepping motor 233 is reversely rotated by a prescribed rotation angle to eliminate backlash, and then the center P of the second edge 209B is moved in an Xb direction and returned to a target position Xs. Accordingly, the optical scanner can set a tilt angle of the second fθ lens 209 in an XY plane to a target angle without being affected by the backlash, and can accurately correct a tilt of a primary scanning line on a photosensitive drum 32. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
