<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable charger with sufficient operability, which can reduce a load to a connector. <P>SOLUTION: A portable charger 1 includes: a solar battery 31 attached to a body case 2 by exposing to a rear face; a secondary battery 25 charged by the battery; and a connector 21 supplying power of the secondary battery 25 to the portable telephone set 51 attached/detached to/from the body case 2. The body case 2 includes a rectangular unit installation wall 9, side walls 6 and a connector attaching portion 11 which is arranged at one end in a longitudinal direction of the unit installation wall 9 and to which the connector 21 is attached. A part between the side walls 6 of the body case 2 is opened upward and the other end in the longitudinal direction of the unit installation wall 9 is opened. The unit installation wall 9 has a flat surface on which the portable telephone set 51 is attachably/detachably installed. The side walls 6 are arranged along both side edges of the unit installation wall 9. The side walls 6 have receivable holding portions 6d installed on the unit installation wall 9.
