APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MIXING FUEL IN GAS TURBINE NOZZLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nozzle that is used to supply a fuel to a combustor in a gas turbine corresponding to a combustion temperature or a highly reactive fuel.

SOLUTION: The nozzle includes a fuel plenum 42 and an air plenum 46 downstream of the fuel plenum 42. Fuel channels 32 radially outward of an axial centerline 48 of the nozzle include an inlet 52 and an outlet 54 downstream of the inlet 52. A fuel port 56 in the fuel channels 32 provides fluid communication between the fuel plenum 42 and the fuel channels 32. An air port 58 in the fuel channels 32 downstream of the fuel port 56 provides a fluid communication between the air plenum 46 and the fuel channels 32.
