<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems that a conventional cutting tool used in edge preparation and scallop finishing of an H-section steel causes large impact and vibration in cutting, thus causing hard wear of a cutting edge chip and sometimes leading to fracture, and that improvement has been demanded in an aspect of working environments as well due to large noise. <P>SOLUTION: Numerous multi-edged cutting tools 11a-11j including numerous cutting edge chips a-j attached at small array pitches around circumferences of thin disk-like base metals 12a-12j are stacked, thereby structuring a second cutting tool A having a truncated conical cutting peripheral surface. In addition, numerous multi-edged cutting tools 21k-21r including numerous cutting edge chips k-r attached at small array pitches around circumferences of thin disk-like base metals 22k-22r are stacked, thereby structuring a third cutting tool B having a mushroom-shaped cutting peripheral surface.
