The present invention relates to a high-capacity lithium secondary battery which can be applied to a device such as an electric vehicle or an uninterruptible power supply, requiring high-capacity power. The secondary battery of the present invention comprises: an electrode assembly which has first and second polar plates on both surfaces of a separator; a first terminal assembly which is disposed at one side of the electrode assembly and is made of an electrical conductor; a second terminal assembly which is disposed at the other side of the electrode assembly and is made of an electrical conductor; an external positive terminal which is provided to the first terminal assembly and is protruded toward the opposite side of the electrode assembly; an internal positive terminal which is provided to the first terminal assembly and is protruded toward the electrode assembly to be connected to the first polar plate; an external negative terminal which is provided to the second terminal assembly and is protruded toward the opposite side of the electrode assembly; an internal negative terminal which is provided to the second terminal assembly and is protruded toward the electrode assembly to be connected to the second polar plate; and a pouch which covers the outside of the electrode assembly, first terminal assembly, and second terminal assembly, wherein the terminal assemblies are provided along a longitudinal direction on the inside thereof with a fluid circulating path, and an inlet part and an outlet part for supplying a fluid to the fluid circulating path and discharging the supplied fluid are included. |
