PURPOSE: A catalyst for selective catalytic reduction of nitrogen oxide and a regenerating method for the same are provided to cost-effectively regenerate the catalyst by increasing the oxidizing rate of hydrargyrum. CONSTITUTION: A catalyst for selective catalytic reduction of nitrogen oxide includes catalyst and transition metal chloride. Metal oxide is supported in the support of the catalyst as active components. The transition metal chloride is formed on the surface of the catalyst. The support is one or more selected from a group including alumina, titanium dioxide, zirconium dioxide, and silica. The metal oxide is one or more selected from a group including vanadium oxide, molybdenum oxide, and tungsten oxide. The transition metal chloride is one or more selected from a group including cobalt chloride, manganese chloride, nickel chloride, zinc chloride, and chromium chloride. |
