COMMUNICATION CABLE HAVING FLAME RETARDANT SHIELD TAPE

PURPOSE: A communication cable having a flame retardant shielding tape is provided to obtain a flame retardant property along with a shielding characteristic of a cable by using a shielding tape having the flame retardant property. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of twisted wire parts(20) is made of a plurality of conductive wires(12) coated with an insulator(10). A sheath part(40) is used to surround a plurality of twisted wire parts. The twisted wire part is wrapped with a tape including a flame retardant component and a metal component. The conductive wires made of a wire material by using a conductor(8) like copper for transmitting data transformed to an electric signal. The insulator is composed by mixing other additives with a plastic material like a HDPE(High Density Polyethylene) or FEP(Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene) resin.
