PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base station apparatus and a mobile station apparatus which make TPC operate appropriately in accordance with a switching timing of an access method, and prevents an error from arising in communication, and reduces an influence given on other cells by transmitting a wasteful electrical power.

SOLUTION: A base station apparatus that performs wireless communications with a mobile station apparatus by switching between two or more types of communication system, transmits control information for performing transmission power control of the mobile station apparatus to the mobile station apparatus when switching between the communication systems. The mobile station apparatus receives the control information for performing the transmission power control from the base station apparatus, and determines a transmission power based on the control information when switching between the communication systems.
