<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nitrogen fixation material having high nitrogen fixation efficiency and a nitrogen fixation method. <P>SOLUTION: The nitrogen fixation material has an inorganic substance semiconductor fine particle having a photocatalytic function and a conductive polymer covering the inorganic substance semiconductor fine particle. In such a case, the inorganic substance semiconductor fine particle is preferably titanium oxide nano-particle. The mass ratio between the conductive polymer and the inorganic substance semiconductor fine particle is preferably ≥1 and ≤30 when the mass of the conductive polymer is 1. The nitrogen fixation method is carried out by arranging the inorganic substance semiconductor fine particle having the photocatalytic function and the conductive polymer covering the inorganic substance semiconductor fine particle in an atmosphere containing nitrogen and irradiating them with light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
