<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install a base-isolation mechanism which requires a predetermined flatness on the side of a crane body, to an existing traveling crane. <P>SOLUTION: The method comprises: a removal step of removing a travelling device from the existing traveling crane; a preparation step of preparing a new travelling device including the base-isolation mechanism 30 having a connecting surface 32c for connecting to the side of the crane body, and a disk-shaped liner 20 having a surface-to-be-connected 23 with profile irregularity corresponding to the connecting surface 32c; a connecting member attachment step of attaching the disk-shaped liner 20 to a lower portion of the crane body 100 from which the travelling device is removed; and a new travelling device attachment step of attaching the new travelling device to the disk-shaped liner 20 by bringing the connecting surface 32c of the base-isolation mechanism 30 into contact with the surface-to-be-connected 23 of the disk-shaped liner 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
