<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power converter capable of calculating an output current of a chopper circuit at low cost and with high precision. <P>SOLUTION: The power converter includes: a chopper circuit 16; a detection resistor 4 that detects an output current i0 of the chopper circuit; a differential detection circuit 6 that outputs a potential difference between terminals of the detection resistor as a differential detection signal vo; and arithmetic means 13 that corrects the differential detection signal vo from the differential detection circuit with a control signal D1 of the chopper circuit 16 and calculates an output current io of the chopper circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
