<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor and a disk drive device that can fix a rotor holder and a turntable together while maintaining the concentricity of both members. <P>SOLUTION: An inner circumferential surface of a rotor holder 132 and an inner circumferential surface of a turntable 134 are both in contact with an outer circumferential surface of a shaft 131. This stabilizes the concentricity of both members with the shaft 131. The turntable 134 has a plurality of fixing projections 154 brought in contact with a lower surface of an upper cover portion 132b through fixing holes 153. Base end portions 154d of the fixing projections are positioned above upper end portions of the fixing holes 153, so that even if a dimensional error causes the fixing projections 154 and the fixing holes 153 to be misaligned radially, the fixing projections 154 can be elastically deformed radially above the upper end portions of the fixing holes 153.
