<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte battery that can secure safety at the time of battery abnormality and that can suppress a decline in capacity and output at the time of battery use. <P>SOLUTION: In a lithium ion secondary battery 20, an electrode group 6 with positive and negative electrode plates wound therearound through a separator is housed in a battery container 7, into which a nonaqueous electrolyte is injected. In the positive electrode plates, positive electrode mixture layers W2 including a lithium transition metal complex oxide are formed at both sides of an aluminium foil W1. The positive electrode mixture layers W2 have flame-resistant agent layers W6 including a phosphazene compound, flame-resistant agent, and a polyethylene oxide of a binder having ion conductivity formed on the surfaces. In the negative electrode plates, negative electrode mixture layers W4 including a carbon material of an negative active material are formed at both sides of a rolled copper foil W3. Ion conductivity is secured by the polyethylene oxide, and the phosphazene compound is decomposed when a battery temperature is raised due to battery abnormality. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
