<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress increase in throughput and amount of use memory in generation of parallax data by stereo matching processing. <P>SOLUTION: A multi-eye imaging apparatus is provided with: a plurality of imaging units; and a parallax calculation unit which calculates the parallax data by stereo matching processing of searching videos taken by at least two imaging units among the plurality of imaging units, for corresponding pixels. The parallax calculation unit is provided with: a small range corresponding pixel search unit which calculates the parallax data by searching for the corresponding pixels in a range smaller than the whole parallax range of the two imaging units; and a search range control unit which controls the range searched by the small range corresponding pixel search unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
