摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor integrated circuit device capable of converting an analog signal to a digital signal in high accuracy and in short time without increasing current consumption. <P>SOLUTION: In a delta-sigma type A/D converter 2, A/D conversion by a digital filter 11<SB POS="POST">1</SB>starts. A digital filter 11<SB POS="POST">2</SB>starts A/D conversion after the approximately half of the A/D conversion time by the digital filter 11<SB POS="POST">1</SB>. A result K1 of the A/D conversion is output from the digital filter 11<SB POS="POST">1</SB>, the digital filter 11<SB POS="POST">1</SB>is reset and then the A/D conversion starts again. The A/D conversion by the digital filter 11<SB POS="POST">2</SB>finishes after the approximately half of the A/D conversion time by the digital filter 11<SB POS="POST">1</SB>, and a result K2 of the A/D conversion is output.
