<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric wire with a terminal capable of checking the penetration state of an anticorrosive inside the terminal without breaking the terminal. <P>SOLUTION: A terminal 20 having an electric wire crimp part 91 provided with a core wire crimp part 42 and a covering crimp part 62 is provided with an observation hole 59 on the bottom 6 of the electric wire crimp part 91. An electric wire 1 with a terminal is formed by connecting the terminal 20 to an electric wire 10 having a covering part 13 which covers the periphery of a core wire 12 with an insulating material and a core wire end 14 at which the core wire 12 is exposed, and coating the electric wire crimp part 91 with an anticorrosive 71, consisting of epoxy resin as a major ingredient, whose viscosity measured with reference to JIS Z8803 is within the range from 1000 to 30000 mPa s at 25°C. Satisfactory penetration of the anticorrosive 71 inside the electric wire crimp part 91 can be made sure by checking to see that the observation hole 59 is covered with the anticorrosive 71. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
