The invention relates to a structure (20) of an electrically powered motor vehicle (10) and to an associated accumulator battery. The structure includes a lower portion (24) and an opposite upper portion (26), while the accumulator battery (30) includes a lower part (32) and an upper part (34). In addition, the structure (20) includes receiving members (44) located in the aforementioned lower portion and connecting members (40) located in the aforementioned upper portion. The receiving members (44) can receive the lower battery part (32), while the connecting members (40) can connect the upper battery part (34) to the upper portion (26) of the structure. According to the invention, the connecting members (40) comprise an elastically deformable assembly (42) for absorbing oscillations of the upper battery part (34) with respect to the upper portion (26) of the structure.
