<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device that reliably prevents the emission of a laser beam in non-use due to an erroneous turning on of a switch. <P>SOLUTION: An image display device of the present invention includes a first switch 106 that turns on in a use state where a movable body 12 is drawn out of a case 11, and a second switch that turns on in accordance with the operation of an operation button 82 by a user.
