<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress user's feeling of fatigue by facilitating tracking of a stereoscopic view of a high-speed video reproduction, such as fast forwarding, in reproduction of a 3D content. <P>SOLUTION: According to the reproducing state of a player, a parallax or a distance giving a feeling of depth is adjusted. In N-fold speed reproduction, the rate of change in parallax or distance is adjusted to 1/N or less while keeping stereoscopic display, thereby adjusting the amount of change in parallax or distance in N-fold speed reproduction to be equal to or smaller than that in normal reproduction. In response to switching of viewing between 2D and 3D, the reduction ratio of the amount of change in parallax is gradually increased when switching from 2D to 3D, and the reduction ratio of the amount of change in parallax is gradually decreased when switching from 3D to 2D. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
