<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform operation control correctly as much as possible even if a steam pressure value cannot be correctly detected. <P>SOLUTION: The steam boiler which generates steam by heating water includes a steam pressure detection device 5 for detecting a steam pressure value, and an operation control device 1 for controlling the operation of a boiler, and the operation control device 1 controls the operation of the boiler based on the steam pressure value. The steam boiler includes a steam temperature detection device 6 for detecting a steam temperature value. When abnormality occurs in the steam pressure detection device 5, the operation control device 1 calculates the steam pressure value from the steam temperature value detected by the steam temperature detection device 6 and controls the operation of the boiler based on the calculated steam pressure value. When it is unknown that, in which the steam pressure detection device 5 or the steam temperature detection device 6 the abnormality has occurred, the operation of the boiler is controlled based on a larger value between the two steam pressure values. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
