<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage type water heater that improves energy saving performance without uselessly consuming power. <P>SOLUTION: The storage type water heater includes a hot water storage tank 1 for storing hot water; and a remote control device 8 having a display part 10 for displaying an operation state and a setting condition of equipment. The remote control device 8 has: a control part 11 changing a display content; an illuminance sensor 9, which is a determiner of presence of persons in a room detecting presence of persons in a room, for determining the presence or absence of persons in the room by illuminance detected by the illuminance sensor 9; a presence of persons in a room condition setting unit 12 capable of changing a decision condition; and a selection unit 13 capable of selecting either effectiveness or ineffectiveness of the determiner 9 of presence of the persons in a room, and enabled to turn on/off the display without being affected by time and a place nor uselessly consuming power. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
