<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier device capable of surely identify whether a predetermined loaded object is mounted or not (presence/absence of a predetermined loaded object) on a carrier vehicle, and correctly changing a range of detection performed by obstacle detection means depending on presence/absence of the predetermined loaded object. <P>SOLUTION: The carrier device 10 with carrier vehicles 11, a bumper sensor 12 and a control device 15 has loaded object detection means (sensors 13 and 14) for detecting whether predetermined loaded objects (including a vehicle body 1 and a carriage 3) are mounted or not on each of the carrier vehicles 11 and outputting a loaded object signal when the predetermined loaded objects are mounted on the carrier vehicle 11. The size of the predetermined loaded object is set to be larger than the size of the carrier vehicle 11. The control device 15 changes the range of detection performed by the bumper sensor 12 to match the size of the predetermined loaded object upon receiving the loaded object signal from the loaded object detection means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
