<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crop digger for digging taro, etc., and capable of digging the crop from a field, separating daughter tubers and secondary tubers from a mother tuber and, recovering the mother tuber as a waste, and recovering the daughter tubers and secondary tubers as harvests without using human work. <P>SOLUTION: Taro is dug up from ground with a digger blade 19; the dug-up taro is transported backward above with a slat belt 14 constituting an endless track; the taro is pressed from right and left with a separating device 3 on the slat belt 14 during transportation and separated into the mother tubers and the daughter or secondary tubers; and the daughter tubers and the secondary tubers are dropped on a lower ridge through a declining transfer slope 18 placed at the back of the slat belt 14.
