<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand and robot capable of reducing an attitude change of an arm to hold a component. <P>SOLUTION: The hand 35a includes: a pair of support units 42; a pair of holding claws 36, which are arranged inside the pair of support units 42, respectively, for holding the component; an opening and closing mechanism 400 for opening and closing the pair of support units 42 along a swinging shaft AXp intersecting with a longitudinal direction of each support unit 42; and a swinging mechanism 500 for swinging the pair of holding claws 36 around the swinging shaft AXp, and for changing the direction of each tip of the holding claws 36. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
