The invention relates to a device (10, 30, 50) for heating and for drying a workpiece (100) with the aid of at least one inert, electrically non-conducting liquid (110) and the vapor thereof, wherein the density of the vapor of the at least one inert, electrically non-conducting liquid (110) is greater than air and the device comprises: (a) at least one container (130, 230, 330, 430, 530), which is designed to receive at least one liquid (110) and/or the vapor covering (120) thereof and the workpiece (100), (b) at least one positioning device (140, 240), which is designed to introduce the workpiece (100) into the at least one container (130, 230, 330, 430, 530) and remove same again from the at least one container (130, 230, 330, 430, 530), (c) at least one heating device (150, 250, 350, 450, 550), which is designed to heat the at least one liquid (110) to at least one first temperature and to a second temperature, wherein the at least one liquid (110) forms a vapor covering (120) at the second temperature, (d) wherein the positioning device (140, 230) transports the workpiece (100) out of the at least one liquid (110) into the vapor covering (120) of the at least one liquid (110) when the workpiece (100) has reached the at least one first temperature, and (e) wherein the device (10, 30, 50) transports the workpiece (100) out of the vapor covering (120) after a predetermined target temperature has been reached. |
