The module (3) has a container for accommodating and protecting a separate electronic module, which comprises integrated electronic components. Tire pressure is measured by the tire module, which is movably arranged at a band-shaped holding unit (5) in a free manner. The band-shaped holding unit is coaxially arranged at a vehicle rim (4) at a tire hollow space. The tire module is arranged at distance to a tire interior side (2) and from an outer periphery side (8) of the vehicle rim. The band-shaped holding unit consists of a synthetic rubber material. The holding unit is connected at opposite ends by a Velcro(RTM: hook-and-loop fastener).
