The method involves passing the liquid for ultrasonic cleaning of substances between outer wall (2) of endoscope and to-be-disinfected working channels (4). The working channels are cleaned simultaneously with the liquid. The liquid is water, cleaning fluid and/or disinfection solution. The ultrasound effect is interrupted during cleaning and disinfection period by stopping an ultrasonic generator.
