PURPOSE: A pitch estimating apparatus in a time domain is provided to increase the accuracy and stability of pitch estimation in a time domain using an IIR filter. CONSTITUTION: An envelope processing unit(200) supplies an output signal of an IIR(Infinite Impulse Response) filter unit(100). The envelope processing unit divides the output signal into an active section and a threshold section. A section processing unit(300) divides the output signal into a positive section and a negative section. The section processing unit searches for a pitch section and a start point. A pitch estimating unit(400) selects one of pitch candidates. |
