NACRE AND NACRE-DRIVEN WATER SOLUBLE COMPONENTS HAVING PROPERTY OF BONE DISORDER PREVENTION AND BONE REGENERATION

PURPOSE: A natural composition containing pearl powder and water soluble pearl powder is provided to enhance osteroblast activity and to suppress differentiation and activation of osteoclast. CONSTITUTION: A biocompatible composition needed for dental and alveolar bone regeneration contains pearl powder and water soluble pearl composition. A supplementary health food and drug for treating and preventing bone diseases contains the pearl powder and water soluble pearl composition. A method for dissociating the water soluble composition from pearl powder comprises: a step of suspending pearl powder in water in a concentration of 500 mg/ml and stirring for 12 hours; a step of centrifuging at 5,000 rpm for 20 minutes; and a step of collecting supernatant and filtering.
