摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing pre-load structure of a machine tool having a simple structure and applying uniform pressing force to a bearing. <P>SOLUTION: In a bearing mounting part 2b of an outer circumferential surface of a main shaft 2, a first end surface 2f is formed which abuts on one axial direction-end surface 11d of an inner ring 11 of a first ball bearing 10, a second end surface 2c is formed which is parallel to the first end surface 2f and is located by a prescribed dimension t in the axial direction away from the other axial direction-end surface 11c' of an inner ring 11' of a second ball bearing 10' and which is formed so as to step down toward an axis center.
