<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine capable of performing safe and stable operation even when voltage fluctuations occur. <P>SOLUTION: A washing machine 100 comprises: voltage detection means 501 which detects power supply voltage; a washing motor 63 which drives a rotating drum of the washing machine 100; a speed detection unit 504 which detects the number of rotation of and positional information on the washing motor 63; a temperature estimation unit 512 which estimates the coil temperature of the washing motor 63 based on the target number of rotation, the voltage detected by the voltage detection means and a torque value of a torque command unit 511; and a control unit 50 which controls the washing motor 63. In a dewatering step, the temperature estimation unit 512 calculates a condition range, based on the power supply voltage and a load torque, within which the coil temperature of the washing motor does not exceed an acceptable value.
