<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light guide member in which area density of a light scattering body around a light source is increased while plane light emission is homogeneously made, and thinning or simplification of constitution is made possible. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of low refractive index members and light scattering bodies are arranged on one face of a light guide body, one portion out of the plurality of the light scattering bodies is arranged to be at least partially overlapped on the low refractive index members.
