<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform post-processing having the upper limit number of sheets different according to the kind of a sheet, without exceeding the upper limit number of sheets, even when the kind of the sheet to which an image is output is not designated in a printing request. <P>SOLUTION: A sheet kind temporarily deciding part 34 temporarily decides the kind of the sheet used, when a sheet feeding tray automatically selecting function is selected and the kind of the sheet used is not designated. A determination part 35 determines whether or not the number of sheets required for performing a printing job exceeds the upper limit number of sheets used when the post-processing is performed for the sheet of the temporarily decided kind. The sheet kind temporarily deciding part 34 temporarily decides the kinds of other sheets again, when the number of sheets exceeds the upper limit number of sheets of the post-processing. An integrating part 36 integrates the number of sheets weighted based on the kind of the fed sheet, when the sheet is fed to an image output part 38.
