<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder conveying device which can be applied to an image formation device performing printing in a high speed, gives low heat stress to powder as a conveyed object, and is manufactured in a low cost, and to provide an image formation device having the powder conveying device. <P>SOLUTION: An interior of a conveyance tank 41 is kept in a negatively pressurized state to suction toner 36 from a toner bottle 40 to the conveyance tank 41. Additionally, a suction pump 43 for generating negative pressure inside the conveyance tank 41 is provided outside the conveyance tank 41. Also, a toner discharge control for discharging the toner 36, which is suctioned from the toner bottle 40 into the conveyance tank 41, from an exit port section 50 of the conveyance tank 41 and a negative pressure generation control for generating negative pressure inside the negative pressure chamber 82 with a suction port connection pipe 45 closed are concurrently started. A toner supply control for supplying powder from a powder storage section to the conveyance tank opens the suction port connection pipe 45 in a state in which a discharge pipe 46 is closed by an exit port section opening/closing device 47 to put the interior of the conveyance tank 41 at negative pressure by using the negative pressure inside the negative pressure chamber 82. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
